Freethought is a small, friendly, close knit company that specialises in all things hosting, server, and connectivity. Ultimately we're a bit of a nerdy group who love what we do, we love nothing more than building a really powerful over engineered network, and by providing really great hosting services we get to enjoy building and engineering networks and servers all day long, which is pretty good news for you, and pretty good news for us as well!
Originally founded in 2003 as Xion Internet the company merged with another company in 2006 to become Freethought Internet. From the early days running just a single server hosting a handful of websites, Freethought now operates hundreds of servers in data centres across the United Kingdom providing services for thousands of websites.
The key about Freethought is that we really believe in what we do, we aren't just in the business to make some money, we love what we do. And most importantly we want to be the best at what we do. We know exactly what it's like to be a customer of one of the massive super cheap web hosting companies out there (who shall remain nameless) with their terrible service and sub-standard products, we want to make sure that everyone knows that there is another way to get online, a better way, the Freethought way.
